As an expert in the examination, diagnosis and treatment of all musculoskeletal structures, Dr. Kremer is able to treat everything from carpal tunnel and plantar fasciitis to chronic knee pain and shoulder complaints. It is highly recommended to address those minor aches and pains before they become more serious injuries.

For the competitive athletes, weekend warriors and the Crossfit WOD seekers, Dr. Kremer commonly performs a Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), prior to his orthopedic examination, which assesses fundamental patterns of motion such as bending or lunging in those with known musculoskeletal pain or concerns with biomechanical imbalances. Much of what the SFMA determines is whether there are imbalances or altered movement patterns and which are functional imbalances (corrected by therapeutic exercises) or structural imbalances (corrected by joint manipulation, therapeutic massage, or other therapeutic modalities).

Dr. Jason Kremer Bend Chiropractor

Dr. Jason Kremer Wellness DoctorChiropractic care offers a balanced approach to the treatment and complete healing of sports injuries. The chiropractic adjustment helps return spinal segments and all other joints to normal function by "breaking up" scar tissue and adhesions created by injury and inflammation. Our Chiropractors use both adjustment and physical therapy modalities to treat injuries in order to restore function of joints and supportive tissues (muscles, tendons, & ligaments). In addition, our physicians will also prescribe customized Therapeutic Exercise Programs (which are injury and sport specific)to allow and aid in accelerated recovery, thus helping Central Oregon athletes return to the trail, water, road, mat, or track as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Wellness Doctor Sports Medicine Bend OregonWhether treating those "weekend warrior" athletes or elite professionals, Dr. Kremer is committed to providing quality care to every patient that enters his clinic. In addition to treating the injury at hand, a surprising number of patients find that upon completing treatment with the Wellness Doctor clinic, they are actually able to return to their sport faster and stronger than before their injury as a result of the variety of services offered by Dr. Kremer and his qualified staff.

Graston Technique

Graston Technique® is also offered at Wellness Doctor and performed by Dr. Kremer. If you are dealing with plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, golfers elbow, carpal tunnel, ITB or IT band syndrome, chronic neck pain caused by postural stress, as well as other tendonopathies, this technique has been proven to help break up scar tissue and adhesions to better allow tissues to heal properly, improve blood flow and increase range of motion.

In conjunction with other treatment modalities such as ultrasound, myofascial release, kinesiotaping, and stressing the tissues through exacerbating loaded movement patterns while performing Graston, Dr. Kremer sees a very fast and effective recovery for his patients.
